Hello again in our second post in the market section! Hope you guys are doing well! Did you know that Stellar Coronae goes to markets quite a lot in the past year (and still plans to do so in 2023)? Maybe a little bit of backstory will be just right as an introduction before other market-specific journal posts.
Stellar Coronae’s very first market was back in October 2019 and surprisingly not in Indonesia. We had the privilege of being invited by Public Garden to join their market in Singapore. We were soooo excited, seeing as it was our very first market and we actually had the chance to introduce our products to overseas friends. If you guys are interested in hearing more about our first market, we will be posting a journal post later about it!
Starting from the Public Garden market, we started to accept another market invitation by Kreasa. This one actually happens in Stellar Coronae’s hometown in Bandung and gave us a chance to know our local friends and fellow local brands. Sadly not long after the Covid-19 pandemic started in 2020, effectively shutting down all offline activities, hence we are going back to operating online on Instagram and then through MOSELO and Shopee.
Having to interact with SC friends through online means only makes us realize that it is much more fulfilling and fun when we can meet up directly. We could see your honest reactions, live reviews, and what you guys do when you are purchasing our products. Your little comments and quips here and there and also our chitchats are so precious and we would like to have more of that. We can talk more about what products SC friends like, or whether there are any inputs for our brand overall. This is why when there was an opportunity to go to market again in 2022, we immediately took it. Starting from the market at Jakarta by Lokal Karya, and in Bandung by Pasar Keliling, we took up offers and opportunities to meet SC friends as much as we can.
What do we bring to our markets? Well, since usually we have personalized products that would be quite difficult to make on the spot for market purposes, we tried to make some other products that could be taken home immediately. From here we started to make mini bouquets available to bring home, bouquet cards, greeting cards, postcards, enamel pins, and stickers, and the newest product line is accessories from real flowers.
